On March 6, 2023, IECF opened grant applications to area nonprofits that support the needs of vulnerable, special populations across the region. Applications close April 10, 2023.
The grants are made possible from five Field of Interest Funds including:
Irene S. Rockwell Fund – Benefits the residents of the city of Perris. Average grant is $3,000.
Seraphim Fund – Aids women and children, including the economically disadvantaged, victims of domestic abuse, and those suffering from physical or mental illness or substance
abuse. Average grant is $10,000.
Fred and Eva V. Stebler Fund – Provides funds for the treatment and care of indigent children in Riverside County, with a strong emphasis on children with special needs. Average grant is $10,000.
James Bernard and Mildred Jordan Tucker Fund – Benefits wheelchair users (ADA compliance projects are eligible). Average grant is $10,000.
Using a competitive grant application process, Field of Interest funds allow donors to specify a broad area of interest (e.g. animal welfare, arts & culture, basic human needs, and veterans services) for charitable support.
