Jesse Melgar is a public affairs expert with over a decade of experience serving in senior government, academic, nonprofit, and philanthropic roles. He currently serves as a senior advisor at the UC Possibility Lab. 

Jesse has served on various boards of directors focused on advancing social justice and increasing access to education. He is the founder and chair of the Cultivating Inland Empire Latino Opportunity Fund at the Inland Empire Community Foundation, also known as the CIELO Fund. 

Jesse earned his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a Master of Public Policy from UC Riverside.
