Patrick Ellis
President and CEO
Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce
Patrick Ellis
Patrick Ellis has been leading with heart, humor, and hustle in the Chamber industry since 2007. After serving as President/CEO of the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce, he brought his signature energy—and unmistakable laugh—to the Murrieta Chamber in 2012. There, he’s been stirring up progress ever since. In 2017, he orchestrated the successful merger of the Murrieta and Wildomar Chambers, forming what is now the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, a thriving organization with an annual budget exceeding $1.5 million and a reputation for getting things done (and having fun doing it).
Patrick is a proud graduate of the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) Academy and earned the designation of Accredited Chamber Executive in 2020—a shiny badge of honor for his commitment to smart, forward-thinking leadership. He’s a longtime member of the W.A.C.E. Board of Directors and even chaired the 2024 W.A.C.E. Conference, because apparently, sleep is optional.
Outside of chamber walls, Patrick serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Mt. San Jacinto College Foundation, helping open doors and create opportunities for local students. He also continues to lend his expertise on the Riverside County Workforce Development Board, where he’s been a valued voice for years.
Originally from Alhambra, CA, Patrick is a first-generation Irish American who has turned his passion for community and connection into a career filled with impact—and a whole lot of laughter. He also golfs, though he’s been compared to John Daly only in spirit (and not in wardrobe, thankfully).
